I think this may be a piece of trench art or similar as I think the badge is a cap badge that has been fashioned into a coin purse. Fairly thick black leather for the pouch itself with a button closure. The badge definitely has age to it with a brass and silver finish. Given how it's been made I can't see the reverse to see if there is any makers mark at all so please take a look at the pictures and ask any Q's before bidding.
