Thick round Mary & Joseph medallion

Lovely medallion. It's quite thick and heavy for it's size. On the front is Mary with child and printed around the edge Mater De Bono Consilo (With good intentions). On the reverse is Joseph, again with child and the inscription Sanctus Josephus. This looks to have once been a pendant medallion for a necklace but the loop is no longer there. No markings I can see to give any clue on the metal used, it feels like silver and isn't magnetic but I don't know for sure so will sell as silver metal.
