Vintage Witton 10k Running Medal

Great but worn silver metal running medal. It is worn but not to the point you can't see anything. On the front is a runner possibly cross country. On the reverse it is engraved WITTON 10K. No markings I can see to give a clue on the metal used or who made it so please take a look at the pictures and ask any Q's before bidding.
